Being Smoke-Free Rocks for Great American Smokeout

November 10th, 2008

The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living (TFL) and the Louisiana Tobacco Control Program (TCP) are collaborating to present statewide events in observance of Great American Smokeout (GASO) on November 20, 2008. The GASO 2008 theme “Being Smoke-Free Rocks,” will be used to encourage local bars and music venues to go smoke-free on GASO day, to increase awareness of the dangers of secondhand smoke exposure, and to inform participants of available statewide tobacco cessation services.

We encourage you to patronize these smoke-free places on November 20 and dont forget to stop by the TFL table for free stuff. Click here to find a participating smoke-free venue in your area.
