Resources for 09–10 Flu Season:

October 15th, 2009

Get the flu toolkit for businesses and employers

According to the Louisiana Department of Health and Hospitals, as many as 20,000 Louisianians have contracted the swine flu since April, though only 449 cases have been confirmed to date. So far, children and young adults have been affected most. In response to growing local and national concerns, the CDC recently released guidance and strategies for businesses to use if flu conditions become more severe. Flu prevention tips designed specifically for daycare centers, schools and universities can also be found here.
