Partnership For Access To Healthcare

The Partnership for Access to Healthcare (PATH) is a collaborative effort among partner organizations, and is administered by the Louisiana Public Health Institute. PATH is dedicated to creating a culturally sensitive and seamless health and social services delivery system for residents of the New Orleans area that is:

  • Patient centered
  • Timely
  • Safe
  • Effective
  • Efficient
  • Equitable

Any organization in the New Orleans area with an interest in supporting the vision, mission and values of PATH may become a partner of the organization. The PATH Council determines the overall strategic direction for PATH and is comprised of key organizational partners, funders and community leaders. LPHI has been designated as PATHs institutional home, responsible for staffing the program and serving as its fiscal agent.

  • PATH employs a systems redesign approach by striving to coordinate existing community assets and health system resources, and ascribes to the principles of the Institute of Medicines Crossing the Quality Chasm.
