NOLA HIV Awareness Week to be Held in Recognition of World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is December 1, 2017 and is an opportunity for everyone in New Orleans to unite in the fight against HIV, show support for people living with HIV, and remember individuals we have lost to HIV and AIDS. In recognition of World AIDS Day, there will be a series of events in New Orleans as part of NOLA HIV Awareness Week from November 29 - December 6, 2017. Here are some key events happening in our community that week:

• NOLA Health Fest: New Orleans Public Library (219 Loyola Avenue), Thursday, Nov. 30, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Prayer Breakfast: St. George's Episcopal Church (4600 St. Charles Ave), Thursday, Nov. 30, 9:30 – 11 AM
• Wreath Laying Ceremony: Washington Square Park (700 Elysian Fields Ave), Friday, Dec. 1, 3 – 5 PM
